Wild Flowers in a Pickle Jar 2012

Every spring I’ve been painting the wild flowers which are most of the flower paintings I’ve made but always with glass unless they’re growing somewhere.  Spring is the best time for me when all the colors in Madrid burst out at once. It was a bright sunny day.

Poppies and wild purple, violet and yellow flowers in a pickle jar reflected in the mirror.
