When I saw this melon come into the room, I just knew I had to paint it. The most interesting thing about this yellow melon was the way it reflected color. I was interested in capturing the reflection. Here it is finished.

Yes, red and yellow work well together. It was the yellowest and yummiest melon I’ve ever eaten.
