Calle Gómez de Mora is a side street off Plaza del Conde de Barajas; its name, in remembrance of King Philipe III’s architect Juan Gómez de Mora.

On Sundays, Madrid is bustling with people on all sides of Plaza del Conde de Barajas; yet, the plaza is calm and quiet as if nobody knows it’s there.

This is my latest painting of Calle de Gómez de Mora. I took a picture of it early this morning on the ground at Plaza de los Pintores, aka, Plaza Conde de Barajas.
