Calle del Codo (Elbow street) is an alley in the heart of Madrid dating back to midieval times. Swordfighting took place in this dark alley during the Golden Age. This narrow, elbow shaped alley is a side street off Plaza de la Villa which is one of the best conserved midieval Plazas in Madrid.

This watercolor will be hanging in my art stand at Plaza del Conde de Barajas, aka, Plaza de los Pintores (The Painter’s Plaza).
