These are the first flowers that I see in-bloom here in Madrid.

I collected the dry almonds hanging from the most beautiful trees and planted them on the terrace.

They grew, I took care of them and painted them.

I have a few different kinds, some are pinkish and others are white as cotton.

With the cold drop, the blossoms all blew away, but not before I made a line and wash in my raku pinch pot.

These daffodils showed up at the same time as the almond blossoms. I like the primary color combination of the blue glass water bottle and the yellow flowers.

I have seen these flowers bloom on my terrace every spring for years and years.

I like to paint them in my favorite blue glass ewer.

Thank you for reading my little story.
