My Favorite Bottles

My Favorite Bottles is the first watercolor I painted of this series with the same name. This series was about painting the bottles in different places in the house. The technique I used here was wet on wet. I no longer have  this painting.

This is a large piece of paper, so I taped it to the table.

This is absolutely gorgeous! Did you use glazing to get those amazingly vibrant colors? I hope you no longer have it because it’s been sold. A real beaut, Victoria!

Thank you Laura for your nice comment! This one turned out the way it did because I did it a la prima. It was done wet on wet; really wet, the paper was buckling while I was painting even though it was taped down on the table. Yes, I no longer have it because it’s the first one to sell. After it dried the buckles went away 🙂

Hi Laura, thanks again. Yes, I have four left. The ones with the boldest color and paint stroke went first. I’m really happy about the choices they made.
