It was a cold grey day, Friday the 3rd of March 2017. The Agrupaciòn de Acuarelistas de España of Madrid did some Plen Air Painting at Bustarviejo.
Jose Luis Cano with his watercolor; he carried out the colors beautifully.
Trabajo conjunto de calidad de Pilar Balsa y M Àngeles. The water is just amazing, look at the reflection!
After lunch, it started pouring, raining cats and dogs! (These two little watercolors are mine by the way)
Then it started snowing so everyone started painting in front of the windows.
Argentina made misty-looking watercolors with accents of color that captured the atmosphere outside. Here’s her painting below.
I was busy looking out the window painting and when I turned around, Ricardo de Arce had already finished a large watercolor. It seemed like he painted it in a blink of an eye.
Ricardo de Arce and his watercolor
Manuel Alpañes is another amazing watercolor artist and an incredible portrait painter.
I don’t have the name of the person who did the drawings below, but they are really nice gesture drawings with background included.
There’s nothing like outdoor painting. And better yet painting with the Watercolor Society of Madrid (Agrupacion de Acuarelistas de España).
ps…I would have taken more pictures but my phone ran out of batteries. Gracias a todos por pasarme las fotos.:)
