This is a small oil painting of Calle Gómez de Mora in Madrid de los Austrias. This is one of the side streets off of Plaza Conde de Barajas. I enjoy painting these colorful buildings with the red toldos, dainty wrought iron balconies and gas lamps. This is a narrow quiet street in the center of busy Madrid and right around the corner from Plaza Mayor. When you come to Madrid, take a walk around this beautiful, breath taking area of Madrid.
